Softball Dominates Deerfield-Windsor, Picks up Region Win

It was a scoring onslaught from the beginning Tuesday night for the Lady Warriors. After giving up a run in the Top of the 1st inning, the offense responded in the bottom half with four runs to take a commanding 4-1 lead. With Landry Joyner in the circle striking out the side in the Top of the 2nd inning, the Warriors maintained momentum throughout.
Leading 12-2 headed into the Bottom of the 5th, the Warriors tacked on a few more for good measure. Landry Joyner ended the game with a two-run homerun to give the final score of 15-2.
The win improves the team to 5-2 overall, and 1-2 in AAA Region-2 play.
