  • Finding & Borrowing Materials

Books can be found using the library catalog by entering author, title, subject or keywords. All Brookwood students, faculty, staff, and parents are welcome to check materials out of the Williams-Parker Library.
  • Books

Lower School students in grades one through five may borrow up to 10 items at a time for a period of 10 school days. Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten students may borrow up to six items at one time. Items may be renewed for additional loan periods if not requested by another student or teacher. Although late notices are issued, the date due slip is the patron’s reminder to bring materials back on time, and overdue fees are not charged unless an item must be replaced.
  • Late Books/Replacement Charges

Materials should be returned on time so that other patrons may have the chance to use them. Lost or damaged materials must be paid for in full. Damaged materials include rain-soaked books and books in which there is writing. Please take care of library materials so that others can benefit from their availability.

  • Birthday Book Club

During the month of your child’s birthday, please consider donating a book to the Williams-Parker Library. The student selects his or her birthday book from a group of new books purchased for birthday donations. After a student selects their birthday book, a personalized bookplate is produced for the front of the book. They are the first to read the book and when returned, the book is placed on the library’s special birthday shelf. If you would like to participate, please complete the form here and send payment (cash, check, or Venmo) of $20.00 to Mrs. Green in the library.
Located in Thomasville, GA, Brookwood School is a private school for grades JK-12. Students benefit from a challenging academic program, fine and performing arts, competitive athletics, and a wide selection of extracurricular activities.
