Athletics

Select A Team

Warrior Athletics represent an integral part of a child’s Brookwood experience. Students in 6th – 12th grade comprise thirty-four teams in the areas of Golf, Football, Basketball, Clay Target Sports, Baseball, Track and Field, Cross Country, Softball, Soccer, Tennis, and Cheerleading.

There is also a variety of athletic activities available for our Lower School students: The Mileage Club is open to 3rd through 5th graders; 4th and 5th graders are invited to play Youth Basketball and join Girls Running Strong; and 5th graders may join Youth Football. One-day clinics for cheerleading and football are available for students in grades K through 5th.

All athletes must have a physical, participation, and GISA concussion forms on file before practices begin. The forms may be printed using the links above or picked up in the office of Flowers Hall, where all forms must also be turned in and where there is a notary service available for completion of the participation form. A physician must fill out the physical form, and all forms expire after 1 calendar year.

Brookwood School is a member of the GIAA and competes in the region/district 3AAA.

Physicals:

Student athletes who wish to play a sport during the academic year must have a new physical on file. Although there is no cost for school-provided physicals, the physicians are asking that a donation be made to the Boosters. Please print out and complete the three forms below and bring them to your child’s physical. There will be a notary on hand for completing the participation form; if you will not be with your child for their physical, you must have the form notarized beforehand, as your signature cannot be notarized in your absence. The forms are located under to the right on this page.
