Brookwood earns All-Region honors

William Huff
After a stellar season on the court, the Brookwood Warriors received a bevy of All-Region and All-State honors.

For the boys Jordyn Jean, Roscoe Jones and Levi Williams made All-Region, while Will Stevens earned honorable mention. The Warriors’ star big man Walker Jackson was named Region Player of the Year and received All-State honors along with Levi Williams.

What is most impressive about these honors is the youth of the players receiving them.

Williams, Jean and Jones are freshmen, Stevens is a sophomore and Jackson is a junior. They just had an extremely successful season together, going 26-3 and undefeated in the region. They advanced to the elite eight in the state tournament, but were able to secure a region title. The future for this squad is bright.

For the Lady Warriors, Maddie Duncan and Ainsley Jacobson were named to the All-Region team. Duncan was also named to the 2024 GIAA All-Star team. Morgan Boggs received honorable mention.

The Lady Warriors also have a great season, finishing 18-9. They finished 5-5 in the region, securing third place.
