Miss Boston Crowned

Kathryn Elizabeth Willis '26 named runner-up in the 2019 Miss Boston Pageant.
BOSTON — “Timeless Southern Charm” filled the air Saturday, Oct. 19, when 17 contestants graced the stage at Hand-in-Hand Primary School to compete for titles in five categories in the annual Miss Boston Pageant.

Christine Welsh, pageant co-chairman, welcomed the overflow audience and introduced Jennifer Jarvis as the mistress of ceremonies, program services director of the Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce.

Highlights of the evening included presenting the 2018 Miss Boston and her court: Taylor Culpepper,  Ava Rich, Sydney Faye Butler and Carlie Smith. Contestants for Miss Boston were presented in casual wear and formal wear.

Winners in each category are:
• Wee Miss Ellie Reese Butler; runner-up Londyn Williams
• Junior Little Miss Avah Su Brown; runner-up Lyla Frances Searcy
• Little Miss Rilyn Paige McLeod; runner-up Ashlynn Isabella Baunoch
• Junior Miss Savannah Lee Ward; runner-up Kathryn Elizabeth Willis
• Miss Boston Courtlen McCullers; runner-up Eden Ashlee Jones.
