TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - On Monday afternoon at the Brookwood School, two former Warrior standouts were back in the Rose City to host their first camp for 2nd-7th graders.
Rodge Woldrop, a sophomore quarterback for Troy, and TJ Thomas, a junior running back for the Minnesota, brought their Division I expertise to possible future Warrior football players.
“I just think it’s a great opportunity to hear from me and TJ who are college athletes at a DI level and being able to understand what we go through and what it’s like to go to that level from a school like this,” said Waldrop.
The two college athletes were teammates at Brookwood for three seasons.“It’s crazy cause me and Rodge were doing a camp just like this together; going against each other and playing with each other,” said Thomas.
“Being able to be where we are now, being able to come back and tell them no matter where you come from, you’re able to do it. You come from Brookwood, you can go DI cause me and Rodge are living proof of it.”
Located in Thomasville, GA, Brookwood School is a private school for grades JK-12. Students benefit from a challenging academic program, fine and performing arts, competitive athletics, and a wide selection of extracurricular activities.
