THOMASVILLE — The Kiwanis Club of Thomasville proudly recognized three outstanding students during its Students of the Quarter Recognition Program, held Friday, October 30, 2026, at the Vashti Center in Thomasville.
The Students of the Quarter program recognizes exceptional students from local schools who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, strong character, and a commitment to excellence.
The October 2026 Students of the Quarter honorees included Miles Griffin of Thomasville City Schools, Emma Pyle of
Thomas County Central High School, and Sam Yokley of Brookwood School.
Each student was recognized during the club’s weekly luncheon, where family members, educators, and Kiwanis members gathered to celebrate their accomplishments. School representatives had the opportunity to share what makes each student exceptional and deserving of this recognition.
“Recognizing the achievements of our young people is one of the most rewarding things we do as Kiwanians,” said Dana Stewart, Immediate Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Thomasville and Division 5 Lieutenant Governor for the Georgia District of Kiwanis. “These students are wonderful examples of leadership, dedication, and character. We are proud to celebrate their accomplishments and encourage them as they continue to make a positive difference in their schools and communities.”
The Kiwanis Club of Thomasville extends its sincere appreciation to the teachers, administrators, and families who support these students and help them reach their full potential.
As the club celebrates 100 years of service in 2026, its commitment to recognizing and supporting young people remains a cornerstone of its mission.
The Students of the Quarter program is one of several initiatives through which the Kiwanis Club of Thomasville supports education, promotes leadership, and invests in the future of Thomasville and Thomas County.
