Brookwood Seventh Graders Explore Georgia’s Coastal Ecosystemson Jekyll Island

Brookwood School’s seventh graders recently traveled to the University of Georgia 4-H Center at Jekyll Island for their annual coastal ecology trip. Through hands-on activities in salt marsh, maritime forest, beach ecology, dissection, herpetology, and more, students explored Georgia’s diverse ecosystems while building scientific skills and environmental awareness. Members of the Class of 2031 also gathered field research to support their science studies as they wrap up the academic year.
