Faculty learn creative problem solving

Thomasville Times-Enterprise, Staff Report
Brookwood School offers several design thinking courses for Middle and Upper School students, and faculty routinely work design thinking in curriculum in all grades.  During the January faculty meeting, faculty and staff worked together to learn another way design thinking may be integrated in their classes.

Following the process established by the Stanford School, Brookwood faculty used the human-centered approach of Design Thinking to creatively problem solve.  After a period of collaboration, each staff member created a prototype of an ideal wallet by using the five steps of Design Thinking: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test.
