Boys Soccer Falls to Cairo High School, 5-3

Brookwood Soccer was defeated by Cairo High School, falling by the final score of 5-3. The Warriors led 2-0 after 20 min with great goals from Bridger Middleton and Jonathan Burns. A scoring frenzy late in the first frame had the score tied 3-3 at halftime after a strong come back from Cairo and another Warrior goal from Colin Grimsley, his career first. In the second half, game fitness prevailed for Cairo as they added another two goals, the Warriors battled hard to the final whistle and did themselves and their school proud.
