THOMASVILLE — Braelyn Byce made her presence felt at the plate and in the circle Monday, helping lead the Brookwood Lady Warriors to an 11-3 victory over Westwood.

The Lady Warriors added another run in the second. Anna Claire Pyle singled on a ground ball, stole second and advanced to third on an error. Emmalyne Schober then brought Pyle home with a groundout to first.
Brookwood continued to add to its lead in the third inning. Ava Bodell and West drew walks before Abby Anderson singled on a ground ball to score Bodell.
The Lady Warriors added another run in the fourth. After Schober and Natalie Tyson drew walks, Byce singled on a ground ball to load the bases. West then drew a walk to score Schober. Anderson followed by ground-
ing into a fielder’s choice.

pitch before Schober reached on an error by Westwood’s third baseman. Tyson also reached on an error by the third baseman, scoring Halbig.
Byce followed with a line-drive single to left field, bringing home Tyson and Schober. Westwood responded with three runs in the bottom of the fifth, but Brookwood maintained control to secure the win.
