Students Explore Future Pathways Through College and Career Readiness Series
Upper School students at Brookwood School recently spent time connecting classroom learning with real-world opportunity through a series of college and career readiness experiences led by professionals across a wide range of industries.
Following last Thursday’s SAT administration, students participated in an afternoon of career conversations featuring leaders in entrepreneurship, technology, finance, law, engineering, healthcare, and environmental science. Guest speakers shared insights into their professional journeys, outlined emerging opportunities within their fields, and answered thoughtful student questions about education, training, and the future of work.
Students gained perspective on a broad spectrum of professional pathways while learning how industries are evolving in a rapidly changing world. The experience offered meaningful exposure to life beyond Brookwood and encouraged students to begin considering the futures they may pursue after graduation.
Together, these experiences reflect Brookwood’s commitment to preparing students not only for college, but for purposeful and informed futures.
Located in Thomasville, GA, Brookwood School is a private school for grades JK-12. Students benefit from a challenging academic program, fine and performing arts, competitive athletics, and a wide selection of extracurricular activities.
