On Friday, Brookwood’s Kindergarten class had a special guest read to them during storytime. Headmaster Dr. Randy Watts shared the book Kindergarten Cat with the excited students.

Fourth grade students were introduced to their MacBooks this week. These will be stored on a cart outside their classrooms for use during the school year. Fourth grade participates in a hybrid program as they begin the transition from iPads to MacBooks in preparation for fifth grade.
Seventh grade life science students studied samples of pond water and worked on microscope techniques.
Eighth grade physical science students put Newton’s Third Law of Motion - every force has an equal and opposite reaction force - into play by making balloon powered cars. Some students built cars that went a long distance, other students built cars that went fast, but all students had a good time!
