THOMASVILLE - Brookwood School’s youngest Warriors celebrated being 100 days smarter on the 100th day of school. Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten students put on their best senior citizen attire for the occasion. Throughout the day, classes participated in a variety of “100th-day” themed activities.
The day started off with a breakfast fit for the 100th day of school with string cheese and donuts making a 100 and 100 grapes split amongst the classes. Junior Kindergarten classes made festive crowns to celebrate the day and practiced counting to 100 by 10s. Kindergarten classes did several different STEAM stations in the classroom such as making a tower with 100 pennies and a structure out of 100 plastic cups. Students ended the day with a few rounds of bingo at the Brookwood “Senior Center.”
