On Wednesday, October 15, all Upper School students and faculty from Brookwood School took part in an off-campus Day of Service, dedicating their time to several local organizations across Thomasville. Students worked at the Thomasville History Center, The Vashti Center, Hands & Hearts for Horses, and the Weston YMCA, taking on projects such as painting, pressure washing, landscaping, organizing, and repairing community spaces.
This initiative allowed students to make a tangible difference in their community while deepening their understanding of service leadership. Whether restoring outdoor areas, refreshing classrooms, or assisting with facility improvements, Brookwood students exemplified the school’s mission to educate the whole child through hands-on service.
