Rotary honors students of the month

Curry '18, recognized as one of Rotary Club's Academic Students of the Month.
The Thomasville Rotary Club’s Academic Students of the Month for September were Lilith Edwards from Thomasville High School and Curry Brinson from Brookwood School.
Edwards earned this honor by maintaining one of the highest grade point averages in the senior class, by demonstrating a high level of rigor in her coursework and by participating in band and other fine arts. She had the highest overall GPA in her junior year.
Besides band, she has been involved in Hands on Thomasville and the National Honor Society.
Brinson was recognized for his academic excellence, the respect afforded him by faculty and administration, and his extra-curricular activities. He is the 12th grade student government president, a member of the National Honor Society and an Eagle Scout. He is also active in the Drama Guild.
