Brookwood Tennis Handles Tiftarea With Ease
Brookwood Boys and Girls tennis were victorious over Tiftarea on Thursday afternoon.
The Lady Warriors had a toug ob ahead them but prevailed after a strong effort. Emma Szwarc, Abby Lee and Sophie Thomas each won their singles matches convincingly. In doubles play, the team of Lexi Taylor & Rayne Deese lost a close match in a 3rd set tie break. Avery Kirkham and Camille Yarbrough played well together and won at #2 doubles.
On the boys side, Tiftarea forfeited 3 of the 5 points. Pearson Taylor took his singles match 6-2, 7-6 and Drew Parker combined with Wil Kadel to take the doubles point 8-0.
