Brookwood middle school team takes title
The Brookwood Middle School baseball team claimed the GISA Region 3 AAA championship this past Saturday. Brookwood defeated Southland Academy 5-2 in the semi-final game and then defeated Deerfield Windsor School 1-0 in the final. Brookwood’s Parker Lee pitched a complete
game shutout and scored the game-winning run in the final. The team finished the season with a record of 11-3.
