Boys Soccer Captures Win over FPD in Macon

Warrior Soccer captured a big win on the road Saturday night in Macon, defeating First Presbyterian Day School by the final score of 1-0. The unassisted goal by Nathan Yokley was the only score needed to secure the win in a tight, defensive game.

Coach Foy remarked, "The boys had a very strong performance from start to finish controlling the game. We could have scored more goals as we created a lot of great chances, but the FPD goalkeeper had an outstanding game making over 8 strong saves. The boys finally got their reward for all their hard work."

The win is the first for the boys on the season, as they improve to 1-2-1 on the year. The next Varsity contest will be next Thursday, March 28 against Deerfield-Windsor.
