Two-A-Days: Brookwood looking to build depth amongst a young team

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The Brookwood Warriors are under new leadership in Daryl Jones, and they’re a young and inexperienced group.
Their biggest obstacle right now? Depth. Coach said they really have to work establish that, but he said they’re a tough bunch and he’s been proud of the way they’ve come to work every day...
“I know how cliche it sounds, but we have to get better each day,” he said. “Our first scrimmage last Monday, all we had to do was be better than the padded camps we went through throughout the course of the summer, and then this scrimmage we have this Friday, we just want to be better than the last scrimmage. If we continue to focus on our development and our bonding as a team, and eliminating any type of excuses as to why we can’t, we’re going to try to show folks how we can.”
Brookwood faces Pataula Charter in that scrimmage. They open up the regular season next week at home against Westfield.
Located in Thomasville, GA, Brookwood School is a private school for grades JK-12. Students benefit from a challenging academic program, fine and performing arts, competitive athletics, and a wide selection of extracurricular activities.
