College Board Recognizes 40 Brookwood AP Scholars

Forty Brookwood School students have been recognized by the College Board for their outstanding performance on Advanced Placement (AP) examinations.

The AP program, created by the College Board, offers high school students the opportunity to engage in rigorous, college-level coursework. At the end of each course, students take standardized exams scored on a 5-point scale, with a score of 3 or higher often qualifying for college credit or advanced placement at universities nationwide.

Brookwood students continue to excel in this challenging program. This year’s honorees earned distinctions across three levels of recognition: AP Scholar, AP Scholar with Honor, and AP Scholar with Distinction.

AP Scholars – Students who earned a score of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams: Harrison Chapura ‘26, Shep Davis ‘25, Audrey Harrison ‘26, Rylee Knight ‘25, Jarrett Parr ‘26, Will Stevens ‘26, Caroline Stewart ‘25, Avery Tate '26, Kate von Hellens ‘25, and Sims Wetherbee ‘26.

AP Scholars with Honor – Awarded to students who scored 3 or higher on at least four AP exams and maintained an average score of at least 3.25 across all exams taken: Addison Gamble ‘26, Walker Jackson ‘25, Ainsley Jacobson '25, Audrey Mizell ‘26, Kensley Rodd ‘25, Abby Stalvey ‘25, Waverly Waldrep ‘25, Wesley Warren ‘27, and Courtney Wolsfelt ‘26.

AP Scholars with Distinction – The highest level of recognition, granted to students who scored 3 or higher on at least five AP exams with an average score of 3.5 or higher: Avery Bentley ‘26, Maggie Brock ‘26, Mason Brunson ‘26, Sam Bryant ‘26, Diya Choksi ‘25, Briggs Daniel ‘26, Wyatt Davis ‘26, Henry Frye ‘25, Pierce Garland ‘26, Jackson Horne ‘26, Henry Knox ‘26, Matthew Lauderdale ‘25, Avery Kate Lee ‘25, James Mizell ‘26, Eva Nicholson ‘26, Emma Rhodes ‘25, John Roesel ‘25, Miriam Simmons ‘25, Jack Spence ‘26, Andrew Strickland ‘25, and Ben Watts ‘25.

Through opportunities such as the AP program, Brookwood students continue to strengthen the skills, discipline, and knowledge that will serve them well in higher education and beyond.
