The offense ignited the charge, as the Lady Warriors scored quickly in the Top of the 1st inning. Anna Stencil, Mollie Vick, and Jessie Wortman had an RBI each to give the visiting Warriors an early 3-0 lead before the defense had taken the field.

The Lady Wildcats took advantage of a Brookwood fielding error to score two runs, and tied the game at 4-4 in the Bottom of the 5th inning. The Lady Warriors showed resiliency and calm, responding right back in the Top of the 6th. Abbie Bustle's single followed by doubles from Dara Moore and Ann Murray Jackson plated two Warrior runs and took back a 6-4 lead.

In the Bottom of the 7th, the Wildcats made one last push. Scoring one during a two-out rally, but a fly ball to Anna McBride in center field secured the final out of the game with a final score of 6-5.

Landry Joyner pitched all seven innings and recorded six strikeouts on the day.

The win improved the Lady Warriors to 4-1 overall on the season, as they travel to AAA Region 2 opponent Southland Academy on Thursday.
