Brookwood scored first with Landry Joyner's double followed by Ann Murray Jackson's triple to take a 1-0 lead over the visiting Citizens Christian Academy.

In the top of the 2nd inning, CCA responded by loading the bases with no outs. After plating the lone Patriots' run of the game, Dara Moore made the defensive play of the game with a diving catch. She quickly doubled off the runner at third base who failed to tag up. Landry Joyner struck out the next batter, one of her seven Ks on the day, and the Warriors had escaped the threat.

Abbie Bustle, Abby Lee, Ann Murray Jackson, and Landry Joyner all had two base-hits on the day, while Moore had three. The Lady Warriors batted through the lineup in an exciting 6th inning that saw them plate five runs.

The win moves the Warriors to 3-1 on the season. They travel to play at old rival Westwood in Camilla today.
