Softball Swings Through Terrell Academy, Win on the Road Over Eagles 16-3.

Landry Joyner (3 for 4 on the day) started the game off with her first homerun of the season in the first inning. She later added a single and double. In the single, she scattered only 4 hits across her six innings of work. She only had to face 26 batter to get her second win of the season.

Offensively, Dara Moore (3 for 5, 5 RBI) finished the day just a homerun short of batting for the cycle, driving in 5 RBI to go with her single, double, and triple. Ann Murray Jackson also went 3 for 4 at the plate. The win moved the Warriors to 2-1 on the season, after Thurday's home defeat to GISA AAA Region 2 opponent Tiftarea.

The Lady Warriors return to action this afternoon at home, hosting Citizen's Christian Academy. First pitch is set for 5:00 pm at Fenlon Field on campus. They will then hit the road for two away contests, at Westwood and at Southland later in the week.
