Master Teacher Distinction Awarded to Brookwood School’s Raina Cauley
Brookwood School proudly announces that Raina Cauley, English Department Chair and teacher of 10th grade AP Seminar and 8th grade English, has been awarded the Master Teacher recognition by the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA).
The Master Teacher Program, established by GISA, honors exemplary educators who demonstrate excellence in the classroom and a strong commitment to advancing student learning. Recipients are selected through a rigorous application process that highlights innovative teaching practices, professional growth, and meaningful contributions to their school communities.
“The Master Teacher Program bestows well-deserved recognition on GISA Master Teachers who exemplify best practices in the classroom and demonstrate a willingness to share and collaborate with other educators. GISA commends its Master Teachers who inspire excellence in the classroom, among colleagues, and, especially, among students,” says GISA Vice President Dr. Stan Whitlock.
Now in her 30th year of teaching, Cauley has served as a passionate leader at Brookwood, inspiring students through her dedication to critical thinking and writing. In addition to her teaching role, she guides the English Department, ensuring that Brookwood students are challenged and supported across every grade level.
“[Cauley’s] recognition as a GISA Master Teacher is a testament to her talent, experience, and hard work,” said Headmaster Randy Watts. “She is passionate about her teaching, dedicated to Brookwood, and devoted to her students."
Brookwood School congratulates Cauley on this outstanding achievement and celebrates the positive impact she continues to make in the classroom and beyond.
