Student body elects 2023-2024 leaders

With the 2022-2023 school year coming to a close, the Brookwood Upper School student body
looks ahead to elect new executive officers and class representatives to the Student Government Association (SGA) and to the Honor Council.

The SGA will be led by rising senior Jeremy Patz as President. Thomas Beverly ‘24 will serve as the Vice President. Cole Warren ‘24 will be the Secretary, and Kate von Hellens ‘25 will be the Treasurer. The newly-elected executive officers are voted on by their classmates to represent them throughout the upcoming school year. These four student leaders, alongside class representatives, are the voice of the student body.

Each grade level in the Upper School (ninth through twelfth grades) has its own class representatives in the SGA.

The Honor Council functions as a peer-review committee that handles Honor Code violations. Abby McCaskill ‘24 was elected President of the Honor Council. The Honor Council is comprised of Upper School students and a non-voting faculty member.
