THOMASVILLE: Brookwood School prides itself on being a community building leaders. Each month, students are given various opportunities to combine their efforts and promote growth of the communities to which they belong via an organized service leadership project. February’s service leadership theme is kindness. Throughout the month, students will be given several opportunities to spread joy and compassion on the school campus and in the community.
Lower School students assembled Valentine’s to pass out to Brookwood’s neighbors. Sophie Chubb and Penelope Richardson ‘35 contributed to the project by coloring Valentine’s cards to attach to a gift bag including flower seeds and kind words.
During their lunch, Upper School students were encouraged to “give a ring to someone special.” John Albert Roesel ‘25 FaceTimed his grandparents.
