Moving on to Middle School

Staff Report
THOMASVILLE --  Brookwood School’s fifth grade leaders of the Lower School have proven themselves ready for Middle School. To mark the occasion, students participated in a graduation ceremony. The class sang their class song, “Count on Me” by Bruno Mars as a way to commemorate the bond that the class has. Each year fifth grade students write an essay describing their favorite Lower School memories, and Gracyn Quinones was selected to share her memoir at the ceremony. Later, fifth grade teachers Mrs. Lauren Harrell and Mrs. Kelli Zolt gave out class superlative awards to each student based on the personality traits they bring to the group. The program concluded with each student walking across the stage to receive their fifth grade graduation diploma from Headmaster Dr. Watts.
Located in Thomasville, GA, Brookwood School is a private school for grades JK-12. Students benefit from a challenging academic program, fine and performing arts, competitive athletics, and a wide selection of extracurricular activities.
