Senior Buddy Farewell

After a fun-filled year of making memories, first graders sent their senior buddy off to college in style. The class of 2033 sang a remix of Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock & Roll” created to recount the many adventures buddy pairs experienced this year. From playing gaga ball at recess to getting their very own personalized Christmas tree, the song mentioned it all! The performance ended with graduation cap clad first graders holding a sign of where their buddy is heading off to this fall. The buddy program is one of Brookwood’s favorite traditions that allow seniors to be a mentor to their buddy and make memories that will last a lifetime.
