THOMASVILLE - Brookwood School was a sea of green to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Lower School students used the holiday to participate in many themed STEAM and reading activities. Teachers incorporated science, technology, engineering, art, and math into the day’s curriculum in a fun way.
Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten students put their engineering and art skills to work to construct a leprechaun trap they thought might catch even the sneakiest of leprechauns.
Mrs. Power’s kindergarten class used Lucky Charms cereal to solve math problems and graph their results.
Mrs. Duncan’s Junior Kindergarten class participated in a scavenger hunt that included some of their sight words as clues to lead them to a pot of gold!
