THOMASVILLE - Mrs. Cuevas’ kindergarten class at Brookwood School has been immersed into all things penguin. Students have learned about the different species of penguins and their habitats. They compared their heights to the standard height of an emperor penguin, and finished the week off with a science experiment to demonstrate how penguins’ waterproof feathers help protect them from the cold Antarctic waters.
Located in Thomasville, GA, Brookwood School is a private school for grades JK-12. Students benefit from a challenging academic program, fine and performing arts, competitive athletics, and a wide selection of extracurricular activities.
