Brookwood student government association gets to work

THOMASVILLE - A new school year brings about a new group of executive officers and class representatives for the Brookwood School Student Government Association (SGA). 

The SGA will be led by senior Katherine Cook as President. Zachary Lauderdale ‘22 will serve as the Vice President. Tori Noah ‘23 is the Secretary, and Jack Saussy ‘22 is the Treasurer. The newly-elected executive officers are voted on by their classmates to represent them throughout the upcoming school year. These four student leaders, alongside class representatives, are the voice of the student body.

Each grade level in the Upper School (ninth through twelfth grades) has its own class representatives in the SGA. The following students were chosen to represent their classes:

These students gathered for the annual SGA retreat this past weekend to make plans for the school year. Additionally, they hung up posters for Lives Without Limits downtown and placed encouraging notes on people’s cars.
