Warrior Clay Target Starts Season in Savannah

The Brookwood Clay Target team kicked off the Fall season with their first GISA match at historic Forest City Gun Club in Savannah. Over 120 shooters from 10 schools competed in a match that included 50 skeet, 50 trap and 100 sporting clays targets for a total of 200 targets.

The Warriors were led by Senior Will Bryant who shot a total score of 178.  Bryant's performance included a perfect round in skeet and a total of 49 out of 50, which was a top 10 finish in that discipline.

Senior Ben Parrott and Junior Ava Cauley both shot top 10 finishes in trap. Parrott's total score was an outstanding 168. Cauley finished 2nd overall in female competition, with a perfect round of trap and a total score of 173. Other top performances from Brookwood included Junior Parker Lee with a score of 152 and Freshman Pearson Taylor with a score of 143.
