With the GISA calendar being adjusted, the Warrior Football schedule had a few changes recently before the 2020 season kicks off. The first game of the year will now be September 11th on the road at Maclay School just across the state line in Tallahassee, Florida.
In a schedule of streaks, the Warriors will then enjoy a four-game homestand the following month. Brookwood will host GHSA's Seminole County and Lanier County before seeing Briarwood Academy and Terrell Academy in succession over four consecutive Friday nights at Warrior Stadium.
The ensuing three weeks will then feature road trips to Tattnall Square Academy in Macon on October 16th, Edmund Burke Academy on October 23rd, and Southwest Georgia Academy in Demascus on October 30th.
The final three regular season games will be against GISA AAA-3 Region rivals Tiftarea Academy for Homecoming, at Valwood School on November 13th and home against Southland Academy on November 20th in the regular season finale for Senior Night.
The GISA pushed the playoffs dates to November 27th (Quarterfinals), December 4th (State Semifinals), and December 11th (State Championship.) The top eight teams, based on MaxPreps rankings, in each classification will qualify for the playoffs this year.
UPDATE 8/11/2020: The Warriors will host Frederica Academy at Warrior Stadium for a scrimmage on August 28th at 7:00 p.m.
