First Grade is all HEART at Brookwood

Thomasville Times-Enterprise
Coinciding with American Heart Month, Brookwood School first graders are learning about heart health in science and P.E. Students are studying the organs of the torso in first grade, the first of which is the heart.  Following an activity about pulse rates, the students found their resting pulse and predicted what would happen to their pulse rate after they exercised. After Cardio Cornhole, the first graders confirmed their prediction that your pulse rate is faster after exercising.
Located in Thomasville, GA, Brookwood School is a private school for grades JK-12. Students benefit from a challenging academic program, fine and performing arts, competitive athletics, and a wide selection of extracurricular activities.
