Thomasville Times-Enterprise, Staff Report
THOMASVILLE —The Brookwood School Lower School Library Book Club, led by librarian Mrs. Kathryn Green, meets monthly to read a book and host a discussion. For December, the club read “The Gingerbread Baby” by Jan Brett. The story focuses on a boy who wanted to bake a gingerbread man but opened the oven too soon to reveal a gingerbread baby. The boy then had to build a house to catch the gingerbread baby To bring the story to life, book clubbers built and decorated their own gingerbread houses in the Williams-Parker Library.
