The Lady Warrior and Warrior Soccer teams swept a doubleheader at home on Wednesday night against the rival Valwood Valiants.
In the night's first game, the Lady Warriors pulled away to a 3-0 victory. The win solidified a #2 seed in next week's AAA Playoffs. The Brookwood goal scorers were Holland Walker, Caroline Elkins, and Eliza Miller. Elkins scored from a well placed Miller corner kick mid 1st Half. Miller also assisted Walker, who returned the favor with her assist to Miller's goal later in the game.
Walker's goal was her 25th of the season and 82nd of her career.
The defense was solid again, recording their second shutout of Valwood this season and third of the year.
The win finished Brookwood's regular season record at 9-4-2 overall and 8-2 in Region play.

The night's late game featured two teams both playing for the AAA-3 Region title. In a tense environment, the Warriors came out hot to take a commanding 4-0 lead in the game's first 15 minutes of action.
Frido Spiegel started the scoring onslaught less than a minute into play. Jonathan Burns followed that up just a few minutes later, scoring off a direct free kick from nearly 35 yards out. The brothers Yokley gave the Warriors the edge they needed, with Vincent tapping in from a Burns corner kick and Nathan following up a rebound that played off the Valwood goalie. Just like that, the Warriors were up 4-0. Valwood scored once before halftime and twice more in the second half, leading to a tense last 15 minutes of play with the Warriors clinging to a 4-3 lead.
In the end, the early scoring was enough for the Warriors to hang on.
