Girls Soccer Remains Perfect in Region Play, Beats Terrell Academy 3-1

In a game that got off to a quick scoring start, the Lady Warriors were tied with Terrell Academy 1-1 just 15 minutes into the game. Eliza Miller scored the first Brookwood goal from a Holland Walker assist. Walker notched her own just a few minutes later to give the Lady Warriors a 2-1 advantage, a lead they would hold onto the rest of the way.

Walker scored the game's final goal in the second half, being assisted by Jordan Burns.

The 3-1 win improves the Lady Warriors to 4-1-1 overall and 3-0 in Region play, as they already defeated Valwood and Tiftarea. Up next will be a return trip by the Lady Eagles of Terrell Academy to Warrior Field next Tuesday, March 26th.

"We conceded a goal early in the game yesterday from a horrible bouncing ball. The most impressive thing about the game was our response to this. We defeated the opposition with calmness and very high level soccer, we did not panic. We trusted in our ability and each other. It is probably the best I have seen us play. The girls remain undefeated in region." - Coach Foy
