Four former Brookwood Warriors will be inducted into the Brookwood Athletic Hall of Fame on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Joe and Mary Beverly Athletic Center. A reception will follow the ceremony.

This year’s inductees include Christy McMillan Edwards ‘09, Chris Jarrett ‘82, Josh Reams ‘94, and Tommy Williams.

The evening will feature guest speaker Jason Hurst ‘00 and special recognition of several championship teams: the 1975, 2024, and 2025 State Championship Golf Teams, the 1975 State Championship Football Team, and the 2020 State Championship Girls Basketball Team.

Christy McMillan Edwards ‘09
As a standout three-sport athlete, Christy McMillan (Edwards) earned All-Region honors in softball, led her
basketball team to a state runner-up finish and Final Four appearance, and became a six-time state champion in track and field. She was named High Point Leader at the 2008 state meet and set school records in the triple jump and long jump.

After Brookwood, McMillan (Edwards) earned a Management degree from the University of Georgia and went on to build a successful career at The Home Depot. She continues to lead through mentoring and service, volunteering with City of Hope, Team Depot, and The Home Depot Foundation to support veterans and families in need.

Her record-setting athletic achievements, leadership, and lifelong commitment to service reflect the enduring values of Brookwood.

Chris Jarrett ‘82
Chris Jarrett excelled as a two-sport athlete at Brookwood, earning All-Region honors in both basketball and football, along with Honorable Mention All-State in each. He set the school’s single-game basketball scoring record with 44 points in the 1982 region tournament.

Beyond athletics, Jarrett was recognized with the Patricia James Bullock Memorial Service Award and went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine.

As co-owner of Thomasville Physical Therapy, Chris founded Brookwood’s Sports Medicine Program in 1993 and devoted 30 years of volunteer service to treating student-athletes and mentoring trainers.

Jarrett’s life reflects athletic excellence, professional achievement, and an enduring commitment to service, leaving a lasting legacy at Brookwood and in his community.

Josh Reams ‘94
A three-sport athlete at Brookwood, Josh excelled in football, basketball, and baseball, earning multiple All-Region and All-State honors. As quarterback, he threw for over 4,200 yards while also playing free safety and placekicker, later continuing his football career as a four-year wide receiver at Sewanee.

Valedictorian of Brookwood’s Class of 1994, Reams went on to earn his M.D. from Mercer University School of Medicine.

Dr. Reams has built a distinguished medical career and his commitment to service extends globally through seven medical mission trips to Honduras.

Ream’s life reflects excellence in athletics, scholarship, medicine, and service to others.

Tommy Williams
A loyal supporter, generous benefactor, and tireless champion of Brookwood. Through vision, optimism, and unselfish service, Tommy strengthened every part of school life.

He gave quietly but profoundly—funding athletic facilities and team needs, encouraging coaches and athletes, supporting the arts and academics, and investing in the future of Brookwood. Whether on the sidelines, in the concession stand, or in the audience of a school play, his presence uplifted the entire school community.

His devotion to youth, faith, and education continues to inspire generations even after his passing in 2009. The Brookwood family will forever remember Tommy Williams’ example of leadership, generosity, and love.
