Extracurricular

Brookwood students are active outside the classroom in a variety of clubs and organizations.

Students in First through Fifth Grades may join the Spanish Club, while those in grades three through five may sing in the Lower School Chorus. The Mileage Club is open to grades two through five, while those in First and Second Grade may join the literary club. Fourth and fifth graders may join Girls Running Strong and Afternoons with Shakespeare. Fifth grade boys may join the Youth Football Team.

Students in Middle and Upper School have the option of joining many clubs and organizations including Student Council, Odyssey of the Mind, MathCounts, Girl Talk, SAFE groups (Student and Faculty Encouragement), Girls’ Bible Study, Journalism, Drama, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Student Government Association (SGA), Interact Club, Debate, Literary, National Honor Society (NHS), and KEY Club.

All students are welcome to join the Drama Guild and participate in the yearly all-school musical.
