Technology

At Brookwood, we believe that a strong academic curriculum and dedicated faculty, complemented by innovative technology, prepare students to be leaders and lifelong learners in our rapidly evolving world.

Beginning in Junior Kindergarten, students learn with iPads to enhance fine and gross motor skills and begin letter recognition. Kindergarten students learn programming basics through LEGO robotics and Lower School students visit the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) Lab weekly to participate in a variety of hands-on projects spanning the curriculum.

A one-to-one MacBook Air program enhances learning for those in grades six through twelve. Students across all divisions learn and collaborate with experts from around the country through video conferencing. Our wireless network allows for fast and efficient student and faculty collaboration from anywhere on campus.

Our faculty members attend programs across the country to remain at the forefront of the latest trends and teaching tools that support our vision for 21st century learning.

We are currently implementing the technology necessary to become an Apple Distinguished school.
