After frustrating and disappointing road losses on Tuesday night to start Region play, both Warrior programs came out Friday night focused and determined to right the direction of their seasons. After a tight first quarter, the Lady Warriors broke it open in the second frame with a 20-6 run forcing multiple Deerfield turnovers. Holland Walker and Mollie Vick were the sparkplug, frustrating the Deerfield ballhandlers. With a 38-18 halftime lead, the Warriors continued to pull away in the second half behind balanced production throughout the roster. Erin Lewis, Jordan Thompson, and Holland Walker went for 20, 19, and 17 points respectively in the win. Mollie Vick was the facilitator, dishing out 12 assists.
