Sub-Varsity Football Recap

Thursdays provide great opportunity for the younger Warriors in the football program to get on the field and compete. Read the recap from yesterday's sub-Varsity action, as our Youth, Middle School, and JV teams all saw action. Read more and see photos...
JV
JV Football competed at North Florida Christian in Tallahassee. Despite the loss by a final score of 14-0, the freshmen and sophomores gained valuable experience.
Coach Bill Byce: "We played hard and learned a lot in our first JV game tonight. This team is developing our skillset, and that's what these games are about."

Middle School

Middle School Football hosted North Florida Christian at Warrior Stadium. The offense moved the ball well, highlighted by a deep pass from Rodge Waldrop to Christopher May. Camden Harbin and Grant Gaston were also both effective with carries out of the backfield.

Youth
Youth Football held a Blue-White scrimmage. A defensive highlight was the interception recorded by Matthew Lauderdale.
Coach Steve McDermond: "Both teams played hard. Very pleased with the effort and look forward to our game next week. All kids played well today and all seemed to learn something. We can get better as a team."
