Brookwood to host parenting expert Rosemond

Author and syndicated columnist John Rosemond is slated to speak at Brookwood School on the evening of Tuesday, October 23, in an event that will be open to the public.
In a program entitled “Parenting With Love and Leadership,” Rosemond will use real-life anecdotes to discuss motivating maximum child compliance through the proper use of what he calls “leadership speech.” He teaches creative approaches for times when consequences are necessary Touted as one of the busiest speakers in the parenting field, Rosemond is known for his sound advice, humor and relaxed, engaging style. He has authored 18 books on parenting, family life, and faith, including his recently released “Getting to Heaven.” His nationally syndicated parenting column has run for over 35 years and appears in over 200 newspapers.
In the past few years, Rosemond has appeared on many national televisionprograms, including “20/20,’’’’GoodMorning America,” “The View,” “The Today Show,” CNN and “CBS Later Today,” as well as numerous print interviews.
The event will be held at Hines-Watt Hall on Brookwood School campus on Tuesday, Oct. 23, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. All are welcome.
