Girls Basketball
For the second consecutive season, the Lady Warriors came close to winning the Region tournament. In the semifinal matchup, against a Southland Lady Raider squad that came in to the Region Tournament 8-0 in Region play, the Warriors played their definitive best game of the season. The win in Americus at Georgia Southwestern State University earns the Girls Basketball memorable game.

February 15th vs. Southland, Win 53-27 in Region Tournament @ Georgia Southwestern
In a game that was never even close, the Lady Warriors jumped out early and often. Suffocating full-court defense combined with great ball movement and shot making on the offensive end gave the Lady Warriors an early 22-4 lead midway through the 2nd Quarter and a 32-8 halftime advantage.

In the ultimate team performance, the scoring was well balanced. Junior Jordan Thompson led the way with 15 points, while Erin Lewis contributed 12 and Mollie Vick and Ann Murray Jackson each poured in 10 points. The fifth starter, Holland Walker, only scored 2 points but was a major factor with both her defensive presence and court vision.

The win was a high point for the Warriors on the season and moved them into the Region Championship the following night against Tiftarea Academy.

Boys Basketball
The Boys Basketball team was hitting its stride late in the year, improving dramatically with each passing game. On the road in Americus and playing on Southland's senior night, the Warriors showed how far they had come in a dramatic win in front of a packed crowd.

February 9th @ Southland, Win 46-40 on Southland's Senior Night after an early deficit.

The game didn't start out well, falling behind 12-0 quickly due to a bevy of Warrior mistakes and made three-pointers by the homestanding Raiders. From that point on, the Warriors found their groove among the chaos. JP Chapman and Noah Owens sparked a 14-2 run to end the 1st Quarter tied at 14. The Warriors maintained a slim 25-23 lead at halftime.

Sam Barrett's made three-pointer to put Brookwood up 8 with under three minutes to play in the 4th Quarter was a difference maker. Jack Boltja's assist to a cutting Jacob Hilson layup put Brookwood up 7 with a minute to go and iced it. JP Chapman made three of his four free-throws in the final minute.

JP Chapman led the Warriors in scoring with 14, while Noah Owens finished with 12.
