Brookwood School takes second at region for one act play

Brookwood School One Act places second in region with their production of "Narnia," and will advance to compete at the state level. Congratulations to the cast and crew! 
Brookwood School’s Drama Guild One Act production of “Narnia” placed second in the 2017 GISA region competition Wednesday in Americus and will advance to compete at the state level on Wednesday, November 15 in Vidalia, Ga.
“The group gave an excellent performance at region and state is always such a rewarding experience for the students. I’m very proud of our talented cast and crew,” said Hananel Jackson, the production’s director.
Several cast members were awarded for their performances: Lilly Jackson was recognized as an Outstanding Actor and both Julia Johnson and Curry Brinson received honorable mentions. Cast and crew members include seniors Curry Brinson, Trenton Newman, Natalie Tyler and Wyatt Whitfield; juniors Brianna Beach, Cricket Daniel, Ellie Harrer, Millie Hogan, Audrey Johnson, Julia Johnson, Kendell Mediate, Raleigh Rollins, and Lance Wortman; sophomores Madeline Gordon, Lilly Jackson, and Lauren Ryan, and eighth grader Sam Watts. Musical accompaniment was provided by Sean Landeta and Samantha Arwood.
