The Warrior dedicated to Stalvey
The Brookwood School Class of 2023 dedicated their senior yearbook, “The Warrior”, to Mrs.
Amy Stalvey. Stalvey has worked at Brookwood for more than 20 years and has served as the Academic Resource Center Director, Student Government Association sponsor, and athletics coach.
Yearbook Editor Spencer Richardson ‘23 shared that Stalvey has continuously demonstrated passion for helping students be successful in the classroom and beyond. “[Stalvey] is a calming presence in the lives of the students who pass through her door for a few minutes and especially for those who stay a little longer.”
Stalvey is known to say that she has the best job at the school, as she gets the blessing of working with students year after year.
Stalvey has made an impact on the lives of countless students at Brookwood, including her own children, Abby ‘25 and Taylor ‘27. The class of 2023 feels lucky to be on the receiving end of her encouraging attitude and infectious smile.
The yearbook dedication has been a tradition at Brookwood School since 1971. It is an honor decided by the senior class.
