Lewis Signs with Shorter Men’s Basketball

Brookwood Senior Kelton Lewis recently inked his letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Shorter University. Lewis, a face-up forward who made 42 three-pointers on the season, finished averaging 10.8 points and led the Warriors with 6 rebounds per contest. Those numbers were good enough to earn his second selection on the All-Region Team (2020 and 2022), as well as GISA Senior All-Star honors. He started all 28 games as a senior and totaled 47 starts for his career. He was vital in the Warriors Region Championships in 2020 and 2021.

Former Brookwood Boys Basketball Head Coach Drew Giudice had this to say about his senior leader, “I’m very proud of Kelton and this opportunity at Shorter. This is a great situation for him to develop as a student and basketball player.”

Shorter University is located in Rome, GA and plays in the Gulf South Conference of NCAA Division II. The Hawks are coached by Wade Anderson, who is entering his sixth season as their head coach.
