THOMASVILLE -- The smell of tasty burgers on the grill filled the air at Warrior Stadium as the Foundations of Innovation’s class hosted their Annual Burger-Build-Off. Students pairs created a burger recipe based off of a selected theme to wow the judges. Some of this year’s themes included Thai, Mexican, Cajun and Steakhouse. Burgers were judged based on ingredient choice, presentation, cooking style and taste. A panel of local culinary experts judged the Burger-Build-Off this year: John Gregory owner of Empire Bagel, Matt Hagel owner of Chop House on the Bricks and Leon Brunson personal chef.
