Creative learning in 5th Grade

Staff Report
THOMASVILLE-- Fifth graders at Brookwood School have had several creative learning opportunities this semester.

Mrs. Kelli Zolt’s math class conquered a digital escape room while learning how to find the area of irregular shapes. Each level of the escape room gave students a new math problem to solve at various levels of difficulty.

Mrs. Lauren Harrell’s language arts class put their five senses to the test with their Hershey’s Kisses activity. Students used each of the five senses to describe Hershey's Kisses candy. This taught them how to use adjectives to properly describe nouns.
